Every dress we make is handmade to order in the USA. Take four simple measurements, match them to our chart, and your dress is made for your body - or choose Custom Size and our tailor works from your exact numbers, free of charge.

Our product pages offer standard sizes US 2-16. Sizes 00, 0 and 18-26 are made through our Custom Size option - simply select Custom Size and add your measurements in the order notes (or email them to us after ordering). Please note: garments are measured by hand, so a difference of about 2-3 cm is normal.

How to Measure - Step by Step

Our model Mia shows you each step. Measure over fitted clothes - a fitted top and leggings, like Mia is wearing - standing relaxed in bare feet. The rose arrow in each photo points to exactly where the tape goes. If you can, ask someone to help you; a second pair of hands gives the most accurate numbers.

One picture, four measurements - Mia shows exactly where each one goes. Follow the letters: the four steps below explain each point in words.

Step 1 - Bust (A)

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, passing under your arms. Keep the tape level all the way around - snug, but never tight.

Tip: Do not wear a padded bra for this one; a regular bra gives the truest number.

Step 2 - Waist (B)

Measure around your natural waist - the narrowest part of your torso, about an inch above your belly button.

Tip: Breathe out naturally before you read the tape. Never hold your breath or pull the tape in.

Step 3 - Hips (C)

Stand with your feet together and wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips and bottom, keeping it level all the way around.

Tip: Keep your pockets empty and the tape flat - no twists.

Step 4 - Hollow to Floor (D)

Stand up straight in bare feet. Measure from the hollow between your collarbones straight down to the floor.

Tip: Tell us the heel height you plan to wear when you order, so your dress length suits your shoes.

Between Sizes? Choose Custom Size

Most of us are not one standard size everywhere - and with a made-to-order dress, you do not have to be. Choose Custom Size at no extra cost, send us your four measurements exactly as Mia shows above, and our tailor cuts your dress to your numbers. It is the surest way to a fit that feels made for you - because it is.

Important Notes

  • Sizes may vary slightly depending on the design and fabric.
  • If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
  • For fitted styles, accurate measurements are very important.
